• You can’t believe anything written by the press, either American or European. To say Merkel’s popularity is down is a truth which is completly mitigated by the lie that it was worse for her during the Euro Crisis. I have long kept abreast of events in Germany. I went there several years ago and became fascinated with the place. In any case, I can assure anyone reading this that that her popularity is below anything being published by the press and much below where it has been at anytime during her tenure as chancellor. In fact, many news outlets in Europe have turned off their comment sections because the comments give the truth by refuting the lie’s they tell. It is unbeliveable. There is a deep rage building throughout Europe over the handling of the mass migrations from Islamic countries over the past decades. The so called migrant crisis has lighted a flame. I would not want to be a politician in any western European nation today. Especially in places like Germany and Sweden, I won’t be the least bit surprised to wake up some morning and read that politicians are being murdered in the streets.Regular normal, law abiding, tax paying, people, are torching migrant centers on a daily basis. Guns are being smuggled into European nations through Austria, by the truck load. I don’t know how this is going to end, but it’s not going to be pretty.
