Biden has invited Taiwan to the US “Summit for Democracy” in December

This is the first ‘Summit’ and follow a promise from US President Biden in February this year.

  • The US State Department is inviting 110 participants. Invitees do not include Russia nor China.
  • Its a virtual event on December 9 and 10
The invite for Taiwan will upset China.
