China: UK would bear all consequences for any move to offer residency to Hong Kong citizens

For some context, the UK has been talking about such a proposition for a while now with the latest headlines on that earlier today here.

The UK is offering 3 million Hong Kong people a path to citizenship
This has been mooted for some time and is in place now.
- Hong Kong people who are eligible for British National (Overseas) passports, their spouses and underage children will be allowed to resettle in the UK and given a path to British citizenship
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the decision on Wednesday. In response to China’s national security law on Hong Kong:

US coronavirus – Texas cases on the day more than 8,000, deaths highest in 6 weeks
US state of Texas
- Also, hospitalizations in Texas hit another record high today of 6,904
- 13.2% of tests are positive. That is high and is indicative of much wider spread than is being detected in these tests, i.e. testing is too low to pick up all cases
The chain of causation (explaining this to the deniers, apparently its very difficult for them to comprehend) is:
- cases –> hospitalisations –> deaths
- as you move from left to right along that chain the numbers fall, thank goodness
Deaths per day, the big final bar is July 1
