The three major stock indices are closing at/near their lows for the day.
- Dow industrial average has its worst day in more than two weeks
- S&P index closes back below its 200 day moving average at 4474.25
- NASDAQ index closed back below its 38.2% retracement of the trading range since the all-time high back in November. That retracement comes in at 13952.28
- The energy sector is the only gainer with a 1.8% gain
- Financials, healthcare and technology were the laggards (-1.6% to -1.9%)
- Declines came despite yields moving lower. The tenure yield is trading down -8.5 basis points
