IRS plans to delay US tax deadline to mid-May

Tax filers get a longer timeline

The normal deadline is April 15 but it will be pushed until mid-May, according to Bloomberg. Procrastinators rejoice!
It also means that bills will come later so there’s some short-term upside. However it adds to the wreckage of seasonal patterns coming through the pandemic.
